Moon Wish

I wish for starlight in the clearing of my soul, a silver illumination on unnamed land. I wish for a path so that I may be discovered, and I wish for midnight to hide that path from unfriendly eyes. I wish for the wood my being to be safe from burning but reserve the right to strike fire from stone, summon magic, the earth, smoke. With a twist of silver or turn of coin, I wish.

In the name of lunacy, the hag, the hare,

Selene – I wish, and wish, and wish.
